mini cup

my mini cooper has one serious fault--the cup holders will only hold small cups. a soda can fits perfectly, but try to find a coffee travel mug that size. mini sells cups that are the right size at 40 bucks a pop. too rich for my blood. i remembered once seeing a small travel mug in a starbucks store. i laughed ...at the time. little did i know it was the answer. i have no starbucks in my home town, if you can imagine. but i did finally find a starbucks in a neighboring town--sixty miles away. sure enough, they had one of those mini mugs. and it fit perfectly. so you may laugh, but it works, and i probably should not be drinking gallons of caffeine at my age; especially since i have osteoporosis. so, i will have to hunt down another one for my sister to use.

spring?

one day it is rainy and the next--snow. then the temp jumps to 70. i think that there are just two seasons here--winter and summer.
