If you have driven in the countryside you have seen this....farm trucks mating. they stop right in the middle of dusty roads and on the edge of plowed fields. they always seem to sidle up to each other like two worms exchanging dna info. even though they mate in the open, there are only a few teenagers around which must mean that either the young are very well hidden or there is a high mortality rate.

well hidden i am sure. they protect their young by enclosing them within the controlled condition of an old dusty barn. they only are allowed out to see the world when suitibly dusty, dinged, and paint chipped.
they arn't mating, they are keepging themselves company. a truck that does not pull along side another truck for companionship will soon rust, wither, and then be sent straight to the mechanic to take 2 asprin and get a refill in the morning.
its been proven that a truck that does not pull alongside another will not live to fulfill its warranty period.
