stupid things

holding a cell phone with your neck while washing dishes. fortunately mine survived. my son told me to take the battery out and let it dry out which i did immediately. it has been a week and it seems ok.

buying more "cute things" when you are going to move in 3 months!

leaving your car running while you go to work when it is zero out .... after driving only 2 blocks and thinking you will turn it off in about 10 minutes and then having someone come in after an hour and ask why your car is running

well at least it is good to know that we don't do stupid things by ourselves.

just this afternoon i thought i could trust this stud finder on a wall that is ancient.... i have no idea where the stud is in the wall and i have two small holes with one of them having a ring around it where the plaster peeled off. i guess i'll call plant services next week.

a few weeks ago I walked through the parking lot and i stumbled across a car that had backed into another car, without knowing it.

they had parked on a slight incline and not set a break and after they were in the building it slowly rolled into a car behind them. left a nice little dent in each car, and everyone knew it happened but the two cars invovled.

imagine going out to your car at the end of the day and finding it resting against another. now thats a stupid mistake.

once at bja a guy who was an eye doctor and had an expensive car and was going through a divorce left it parked by the door without the brake on. when he came out his car was gone. it had rolled down the hill into the corner of the house on the corner of the intersection.
