the new ketchup

i remember the first time i saw someone put ketchup on eggs. culture shock--i had never seen anything put on eggs but salt and pepper. ketchup on eggs still doesn't sound too good, but...i really like salsa and onions and cheese with and on my eggs. but now i am in a culture where ranch dressing is used as the all around condiment. pizza of any kind dipped in ranch, chips dipped in ranch, french fries in ranch, and ranch mixed with ketchup or with ketchup and mayo as a dip. my taste buds are offended. but then i really probably shouldn't really wince. i love hotdogs dipped in a sauce of equal parts of heated ketchup and grape jelly.

i had a friend who wouldn't eat any condiments except salsa. that was interesting. personally, i've decided there are very few condiments that i won't try at least once, even if they sound weird. i've never had the grape jelly/ketchup thing, can we try it over christmas? i guess there is one condiment i won't try-the spicy mustard at chinese resturaunts; keith says it tastes like burnt circuit board.

burnt circut board is a real turn-off.....but how does he know for sure what it tastes like. coffee doesn't really taste like it smells.

How does one go about answer the question of what burnt circuit board tastes like? Well.. I can assure you when you stick your head really close to something and it blows up in your face it lets you get right down and personal with it on so many levels. you see the sense of smell is directely tied to the sense of taste. I think the passages may be connected as well, but I can't get my finger all the way in to verify. From this level of personal diagnostics I have determined that my exposure to burnt circuit board is sufficent to make the claim that the BURNT SPICY MUSTARD we had at that chineese restraunt was for sure made out of BCB (burnt circuit board). in china they must route the recycleing program to the back of the restraunt.
