as i mentioned before, my sis decided to buy chickens while i was in california. it is nice to have home grown eggs....organic and all that. but at what cost?
1. chicken house
2. fencing
3. feed
4. treats - cracked corn
5. feed holders
6. water holders
7. horse tank for the ducks to swim in
8. straw for the nest
9. glass for the windows of the chicken house
10. plastic for other windows
11. new silverado truck to haul feed
12. wellies to walk in the chicken yard
13. bedding for the chicken house - cleaned once a month
14. gloves for winter time
15. hat for winter time
16. electric cord from the house
17. heater for the winter
18. two water jugs to carry water for the winter
19. hose for summer water
20. more fencing to make a bigger yard
21. latches for doors
