bertie's brakes
it turned out that bertie had brakes that were almost worn out. i didn't notice the sound because of: my hearing, the sound of the air, and the radio. when i did notice, one was in pretty bad shape, only i didn't know it was the brake. when i took it in to have them check for the noise, they told me to drive just around town until the parts came in.
the most amazing part was that they did both and for free because they said that they should have caught it before they sold it to me. talk about a great car company. no wonder people come from all over the area to buy cars and farm equipment from them.

wow.. i'm impressed. that is not the kind of service i expect in 2007. its sad, but i actually expect people to try and rip me off, and after they try it long enough, it just wears you down and you give in because every does it.
its nice to meet some honest guys! give an update as to where you bought the car and who the service people were so when others find the blog they can see where the mini came from and who these great guys are!
the car came from Hersruds in sturgis south dakota. i mentioned it would be nice to have a mini and even though they aren't a mini dealer they found the perfect one for me and my budget. it only had 30,000 miles!
